Budapest Day Trip
Great bridges, historical buildings and a worth past are what define Budapest, the Pearl of the Danube, and a source of inspiration for many artists. On this excursion from Vienna we'll tour Budapest from top to bottom.
Budapest Day Trip
Having picked you up from your hotel in the morning, we leave Vienna behind, hitting the road to Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Arriving in Budapest, specifically, Heroes Square, you'll have an hour and a half of free time to eat at a nearby restaurant or explore the city at your own pace.
Then, at 12:15 we'll meet again to head to Pest, the commercial and economic centre of the city. In our bus we'll pass through the City Park, the Vajdahunyad Castle, St. Stephen's Basilica, Matthias Church and the Citadel - where you'll get the very best views of Budapest.
At 2:30 pm you'll enjoy an hour and a half of free time to eat and enjoy the sights and sounds of the city. Then the tour will meet again at 4:45 pm in front of the Budapest Intercontinental Hotel - where we'll begin our journey back to Vienna.
We'll be back in Vienna around 8 pm, with the tour coming to an end at the Vienna Opera.
