Danube Tower

At over 820 feet tall, the Danube Tower (Donauturm) is the tallest structure in Vienna. From its observation deck you can enjoy panoramic views over the city. It also has a revolving restaurant.

Located in the Danube Park on the northern banks of the river, the Danube Tower, or Donauturm, is the tallest building in Vienna at over 820 feet (2523 m) tall. From its observation deck you can enjoy panoramic views over the city.

Opened in 1964, the tower not only offers viewing decks but also has a rotating restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious meal while admiring 360º views of the Austrian capital. The Donauturm has recently been updated with the latest technology, and boasts two high-speed elevators to reach its heighest points, while also being restored to the vintage decor of the sixties.

The tower is located in the beautiful Danube Park, a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a sunny day with friends.

Schedule

Daily from 10 am until midnight.
The last ride up is at 11:30 pm.

Adultos: €14.50.
Seniors over 60 years old with ID: €11.00.
Children between 6 and 14 years old: €9.90.
Children under 6 years old: free entry.
Vienna Card holders: 20% discount.
Vienna Pass holders: free entry.

Metro + bus
Take the U1 (red line) metro to VIC-Kaisermühlen or to Alte Donau.

Take the U6 (brown line) metro to Neue Donau.

Take the 20A bus from any of the above metro stops to Donauturm (Danube Tower).
