Mozart Concert at the Musikverein
Attending a classical music concert in the Golden Hall of the Musikverein is a must if you're in Vienna. Experience Mozart's most famous works in an unforgettable setting!
The program
The Vienna Mozart Orchestra has been composed by the best musicians of the Austrian capital since its foundation in 1986. This year, the artists have been performing the works of the great master of Classicism to perfection.
With this ticket, you'll enjoy the most famous pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart performed by 30 musicians, listening to instrumental songs as well as opera arias and duets. To add to the atmosphere, all the performers take the stage in stunning period costumes and wigs.
To round off the show, the finale of the New Year's Concert will be performed, giving you the opportunity to listen to the Blue Danube and the Radetzky March in the very Golden Hall of the Musikverein.
All concerts start at 8:15 pm and end at 10 pm. They are divided into two acts with a 17-minute intermission.
The stage
The Musikverein is the most important place in Vienna to attend a classical music concert, as it's one of the most traditional concert halls in the world and is frequented by top artists. Located in Karlsplatz, it was built in 1870 in a clear neoclassical style, full of columns, pediments and reliefs.
In addition to accessing the Musikverein, with this ticket, you'll attend a Mozart concert in the Golden Hall, a venue of incomparable beauty and acoustics that every year hosts the New Year's Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. A beautiful and unique experience awaits!
