Travel to imperial Vienna by attending a concert in the original hall where Johann Strauss conducted his orchestra. You'll enjoy an unforgettable evening!

Concert Details

The Strauss House is located in the historic Casino Zögernitz, whose main hall is the original Strauss Hall from 1837. This is the last concert hall still in operation where the four geniuses of the Strauss dynasty, including Johann Strauss, performed and conducted in person.

With this ticket, you'll enjoy a concert in this remarkable hall, a venue of tremendous historical significance. The venue houses an interactive exhibition with photographs, audio recordings, and texts dedicated to the composer, allowing you to immerse yourself in his life and the splendor of 19th-century Vienna just before the concert begins.

Universally known as the King of the Waltz, Strauss radically transformed this dance. His path to success was not easy: his father, also a composer, opposed his pursuit of a musical career. However, with the support of his mother, Johann Strauss Jr. founded his own orchestra at the age of 19 and soon surpassed his father's fame, eventually conducting ensembles of thousands of musicians on international tours.

During this experience, you'll delight in the joyful and romantic spirit that turned The Blue Danube into an unofficial anthem of Austria. In addition, while the orchestra performs Vienna's most famous melodies, a modern LED light show will enhance the brilliance of classical music.
